Lawyer in Romania for clients based abroad
Do you live or have your company in another country but have a dispute, a claim, an inheritance or an investment in Romania? We represent you before Romanian courts and authorities, in Romanian or English.
Many legal problems involving Romania affect people and companies based abroad: a Romanian business partner who does not pay, an inherited property, a company set up in Romania, posted workers or a lawsuit filed against you. Distance, language and unfamiliar procedures can make these situations seem hard to manage.
Mr. Bocse Marian-Mihaita is entitled to plead before all courts in Romania and communicates directly with clients in English. The office receives documents electronically, explains every stage of the procedure and represents you at hearings, so you do not have to travel to Romania for every step.
We work with individuals as well as companies, recruitment agencies, investors and foreign law firms that need a correspondent in Romania.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to come to Romania for the trial?
In many cases, no. The lawyer can represent you at hearings on the basis of the power of attorney. Personal attendance may be required only for certain acts, such as being questioned in court or signing a notarial deed, and even these can sometimes be handled through a power of attorney.
Which language do we use?
We communicate in Romanian or English. Official documents filed with courts and authorities must be in Romanian, so we tell you when certified translations are needed.
Which documents are needed from abroad?
It depends on the procedure. Sometimes apostilled or legalised documents and certified translations are required. We tell you exactly which documents to prepare before you spend time and money.
How is the fee paid?
The fee is set in the legal assistance contract and can be paid by bank transfer, including from abroad. You receive an invoice for every payment.
Do you need a lawyer?
Tell us briefly about your situation. We will tell you honestly what can be done and what the next steps are, anywhere in Romania.
